I have always loved trains. Many of the models displayed including the lighthouse above were completely scratch built! Realism is the goal so I do a lot of research before I build something. Even the interiors are detailed with furnishings and walls with pictures! The engineering was challenging and fun from the animation of props to the DCC (Digital Command Controlled) system that computer controls each engine independently.

Every detail is carefully created. Barnacles grab the base of each pilon, lightening rods adorn the roof tops, and the shingles are hand laid. Even this chicken coop has eggs, straw, and droppings.
